HOBING Korean Dessert Cafe

Summer is just around the corner and what is the best way to enjoy summer??  Dessert!!!

HOBING Korean Dessert Cafe recently opened to give a refreshing start for the summer and they will bring Bingsus and toasts based on the same recipes of traditional Bingsus and toasts from Korea.

HOBING is a chinese term for Good Ice. (Ho=good; Bing=ice). HOBING Snow Dessert Cafe opened last 23rd of January, 2016 at BGC Stopover. They offer a variety of Bingsus and Toasts. BINGSU is a Korean term for Shaved Ice. Their bestsellers are Strawberry Bingsu, Mango Bingsu andChoco Brownie Bingsu and don't you worry, these Bingsus are made of Non-Fat milk! So you can eat their snow desserts without the guilt. Perfect for those who are on the loose.

1. STRAWBERRY BINGSU

Strawberry Bingsu- the shaved ice is made up of Non-Fat Yogurt, condensed milk and Non-fat milk and adding to the delight are the fresh strawberries on top BUT the shaved ice is also filled with strawberries. (hindi tinipid!) Regular- P215, Large- P330

2. Mango Bingsu

Mango Bingsu-the shaved ice is made up of Non-Fat Yogurt, condensed milk and Non-fat milk. This is my favorite bingsu, and as you can see the shaved ice is thickly filled with fresh sweet mangoes. It is also topped with fresh mangoes and drizzled with peach mango syrup. Tropical and refreshing! Regular- P125 (what a steal!) Large-P210

3. Choco Brownie Bingsu

Choco Brownie Bingsu- the shaved ice is made up of Non-Fat Yogurt, condensed milk, Non-fat milk and CHOCOLATE!! Overloaded with chocolate brownies, walnuts and drizzled with chocolate syrup. Regular- P235, Large- P360

Their ice were finely shaved but it doesn't melt easily which makes you enjoy the ice cream longer. The best way to eat your bingsu is not to mix the toppings with the shaved ice.

HOBING Bingsus are guaranteed refreshing and doesn't hurt the throat. Their serving size is just enough to satisfy your tummy! Their Large sized bingsu serves 3-4 persons.

You can also try Choco Fudge Bingsu, Injeolme Bingsu and Mango Cheese Bingsu.

Another way to eat your delicious bingsu is to eat it with Injeolme toast. Injoelme is a Korean sticky rice cake made by steaming and pounding glutinous rice flour.

Injeolme toasts are made of toasted bread filled with Injeolme.

The simple Injeolme toasts are topped with crushed peanuts or almonds, Korean soya –coffee powder mix and drizzled with honey butter. They also offer Cheese Injeolme toast, Garlic Injeolme toast and many more.

Their Bingsus are definitely worth trying!!! They also serve coffee, tea and rice cakes. Their service is excellent and I can guarantee that you will never go wrong with their Bingsus! Owners are very accommodating too.

You can visit them at 3rd Floor, Bonifacio Stopover, 31st Street Rizal Dr, Taguig, 1634 Metro Manila, Philippines. They will soon open in Lucky Chinatown Mall, Malate Area, SM Megamall and Ayala, Makati.
