How to Enjoy Boracay in 3 Days???
Summer is fast approaching and I
believe you want to enjoy your vacation on a white beach.
Get your pen and paper ready and
take note of my tips on how to travel to Boracay on a budget.
1. Book Flights early!
Certain airlines like Cebupacific and AirAsia have promos offering piso fare or ALL-IN fares. Book your flights ahead of time. For example, if you are planning to go to Boracay on December, book it 4-6 months early. It would be more affordable if you book your flight going to Kalibo rather than Caticlan. You just have to bear 2 hours of land transportation going to Caticlan Jetty Port. Another tip is to book your flights on the off-peak season (July-November) as it would be much cheaper and less crowded. I booked for 4 persons in Cebupac for P455 ALL-IN FARE promo and got our roundtrip tickets for only P9000 (no baggage allowance).
2. Travel Light!
No baggage allowance means cheaper fare. I am sure you don’t need too much clothing on the beach, all you need to bring are swim suits and travel gears.
- Hotel
Fishing!
It is an option
to book your hotel early and you can find them online but we stayed in Villa De
Oro Hotel, we got the air-conditioned family villa (6-8 persons) for ₱8000 per
night with free breakfast and free wifi. Villa de Oro Hotel is located beachfront,
Station 2, Boracay. You may also want to try Sunshine Place Boracay located beachfront,
Station 1 Boracay. Their air-conditioned standard room ranges from ₱2000 -
₱3000 per night. They also have free wifi but no breakfast. I would highly
suggest getting a hotel with free breakfast as it would save you money for
food.
- Plan
your itinerary
This would save
you time, money and effort. There are a lot of blogs online giving you costs
and activities. Don’t fuss because I will give you itinerary on how we enjoyed
Boracay on a budget for 3 days!
- TAWAD!
Haggle all day!
We all know this.. Work on a budget especially on food!
- The
more, the merrier!
Group activities
and food are much cheaper if you are on a large group. If you are a couple,
then join the other groups.
Now, after these tips I have
shared you, let’s go on our 3-Day itinerary.
